Description

The Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) serve as a vital source of Islamic guidance, offering comprehensive insight into worship, character, relationships, and ethics. This course introduces learners to selected Hadiths and the foundational sciences behind them. By studying Hadith, students will learn how to live a life that pleases Allah, following the example of the Prophet in both word and deed.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, students will:

• Understand and apply essential Hadith in their daily lives
  
  

• Learn the basics of Hadith sciences (ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth)
  
  

• Read, translate, and interpret key Hadiths in both Arabic and English
  
  

• Recognize the role of Hadith in complementing the Qur’an
  
  

• Appreciate the importance of Hadith in personal and spiritual development
  
  

• Demonstrate awareness of the methodologies used in Hadith authentication and classification
  
  

Course Requirements

This course is divided into two levels:

• Level 1: For students aged 6 and above
  
  

• Level 2: For students aged 12 and above
  
  

No prior background in Hadith is required. A basic ability to read Arabic is recommended.

Course Duration

• Level 1: 20 instructional hours
  
  

• Level 2: 48 instructional hours
  
  

Each level includes guided readings, reflection sessions, and practice in understanding Hadith context and application.

Assessment & Certification

At the end of each level, students will take a written and/or oral test. Upon successful completion, they will receive an authorized certificate of achievement.

Outcome

After completing this course, students will:

• Be able to understand, explain, and apply selected Hadiths in their own lives
