Tajweed is the science of reciting the Qur’an correctly. It consists of a set of rules that govern the pronunciation of the Arabic letters, their articulation points, and the correct application of pauses and intonations during recitation. This course provides a thorough understanding of both basic and advanced Tajweed rules, enabling learners to improve the accuracy and beauty of their Qur’an recitation. Whether you're starting from the fundamentals or refining your skills, this course offers a structured path to Tajweed mastery.

3. Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, students will:

• Master essential and advanced Tajweed rules
  
  

• Apply rules correctly while reciting the Qur’an
  
  

• Understand and practice the Rules of Noon and Meem Sakinah
  
  

• Learn the Rules of Madd (elongation) and how to apply them
  
  

• Identify the articulation points of Arabic letters and their characteristics
  
  

• Apply the Rules of Hamzatul Wasl and manage the meeting of two sukoon letters
  
  

4. Requirements

This course is divided into two levels with the following prerequisites:

• Basic Level: Ability to read the Qur’an fluently with some background in Qur’anic studies
  
  

• Advanced Level: Completion of the basic Tajweed course or equivalent understanding
  
  

5. Course Duration

Estimated instructional time:

• Basic Level: 20 hours
  
  

• Advanced Level: 48 hours
  
  

Course timing is flexible and can be tailored to each student’s learning pace and availability.

6. Assessment & Certification

At the end of the course, students will be evaluated through a practical and written test. Upon passing, students will receive an authorized certificate of achievement, certifying their proficiency in Tajweed theory and application.

7. Outcome

Upon completing the course, students will:
