Islamic Creed (ʿAqīdah)

Learn the core beliefs of Islam in a structured and age-appropriate way. This course provides a foundational understanding of faith, helping students grasp the essence of Tawheed, Iman, and the unseen world.


Description

This course introduces students to the fundamental beliefs of Islam, known as ʿAqīdah. It explores the six pillars of Iman and explains the categories of Tawheed in a simplified and age-appropriate manner. The course aims to correct misconceptions, guide students in sound belief, and deepen their connection with Allah through proper understanding of His attributes and promises.


Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Define ʿAqīdah and explain its central role as the foundation of Islamic faith

  2. Understand and articulate the Six Pillars of Iman:

    • Belief in Allah

    • His Angels

    • His Books

    • His Messengers

    • The Last Day

    • Divine Decree (Qadar)

  3. Explain the Categories of Tawheed:

    • Tawheed al-Rububiyyah (Oneness in Lordship)

    • Tawheed al-Uluhiyyah (Oneness in Worship)

    • Tawheed al-Asma’ wa al-Sifat (Oneness in Names and Attributes)

  4. Recognize correct Islamic belief in the unseen (al-Ghayb):

    • Angels, the grave, resurrection, Paradise, and Hell

  5. Develop awareness of common deviations and sects, and how to distinguish sound ʿAqīdah based on the Qur’an and Sunnah

  6. Strengthen personal faith through a deeper understanding of Allah’s attributes and promises

  7. Apply correct belief in daily life, aligning actions, worship, and behavior with Islamic creed


Requirements

No prior study is required. This course is flexible and suitable for students of various ages, with content adapted according to level and background.

This course is offered with flexible scheduling and can be adapted to the learner's age and educational needs.


Assessment & Certification

After completing the course, students will take a test. Upon passing, they will receive an authorized certificate of achievement.
